day works

day works

Every Miniweds Day is thoughtfully timed so each couple experiences an intimate ceremony + portrait session without feeling rushed.

Each couple and their guests will spend a total of 4 hours at TBD. 1.5 hours for ceremony (Rosella room), drinks and photos. Followed by 2.5 hours of dining in the TBD restaurant.

The ceremony session times:

10:00 - 11:30 // Couple One
12:00 - 13:30 // CoUple Two
14:00 - 15:30 // Couple Three
16:00 - 17:30 // Couple Four
18:00 - 19:30 // Couple Five

15 mins | Guest arrival, welcome
30 mins | Ceremony led by celebrant
45 mins | Photos, sparkling wine toast, grazing + cake cutting
2.5 hours | Move downstairs to continue celebrations
with a dining experience + beverage package

WILL WE SEE OTHER COUPLES ON THE DAY?

We will ask couples and their parties to arrive in the courtyard before going upstairs to the ceremony area. The timings for the day have been thoughfully laid out so cross-overs are kept to a minimum. However, you will see other happy groups downstairs enjoying their meals but not interfearing with your day.

CAN WE CHOOSE OUR CEREMONY TIME?

We will take preferences, however, the flow of the day will ultimately be decided by the team to ensure a smooth transition between mini-weds. 

WILL THE CEREMONY SPACE BE THE SAME FOR EVERY COUPLE?

Sophia Wilde and A Tavola will be creating a premium floral installation and styling to match a mood board and aesthetic chosen by the team. All couples will be shown the vibe of the day before booking. You are more than welcome to bring signage and other touches such as a wishing well to make the space personal to you.

CAN WE EXTEND OUR SESSION?

For this day, we have to follow the timings provided for each couple as going over would mean eating into another couple’s time. We have given ample time for photos and mingling within the package.

CAN WE BRING EXTRA FLORALS, DECOR, OR PERSONAL TOUCHES?

Personal touches such as signage, welcome sign, wishing well are welcomed to bring any personal touches. Florals and styling are included in this package; therefore, we cannot approve another supplier's florals in the mix. If you are after more florals such as (bouquets for your wedding party or table flowers) we are happy to quote you accordingly.

HOW DO WE SECURE OUR SESSION TIME AND BOOKING?

Once you have enquired with The Elope Edit, we will send through your quote to match your guest numbers and any additional requests. We require a 20% deposit to secure your booking, and the remaining payment 60 days prior to the day. We will confirm you session timeslot 4 months prior to the day.

WHATS THE CANCELLATION OR RESCHEDULE POLICY?

To ensure the day is worth our vendors' and venue’s time, if we do not get enough couples, we will not go ahead. We will make this call 6 months prior to the day. This ensures ample time for the couple to choose to book as a micro-wedding package instead (pending availability). 

IS THERE PARKING OR SHOULD GUESTS UBER?

There is usually plenty of on street parking available after 5pm on Dunning Avenue (this is metered as 2-hour parking 8am-8pm on weekdays). Alternatively, there is parking available at the Cannery carpark 61 Mentmore Ave, Rosebery NSW 2018 charged hourly, closes at 11pm. 

HOW EARLY CAN GUESTS ARRIVE?

Arrival at Three Blue Ducks will be at the allocated time emailed in the lead up. However if arriving earlier, than 10 minutes before you can enjoy a pre ceremony drink at Archie Rose distillery next door (opens at 2pm) or head to Black Star pastry for a coffee (before 2pm).

IS THE VENUE ACCESSIBLE?

Please note that there are 5 stairs into the venue, however we do also have a disabled ramp for access. 

The Rosella Room where the ceremony and post ceremony drinks and grazing is held is stair access only. Your sit down meal afterwards is held downstairs which is accessible.

CAN WE BRING GUESTS?

Yes of course! You can bring a minimum of 8 guests, wit the option to bring up to 30 guests. 

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

The ceremony and reception are indoors so the show will go on rain, hail or shine!
